DAY 1 - Arrival
Arrival to Budapest airport, meeting the guide, transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time sightseeing tour in Budapest (this case the round trip is one day shorter). Overnight in Budapest.
DAY 2 - Budapest
Half day sightseeing tour in Budapest: Castle District (Matthias Church and Fishermen's Bastion), Gellért Hill (Citadel and Statue of Liberty), Heroes' Square, Opera House, St. Stephan's Basilica. Parliament (optional interior visit). Free afternoon or optional programs in Budapest (guided tour in the Opera House, boat ride on the River Danube). Dinner at local Hungarian restaurant, overnight in Budapest.
DAY 3 - Danube Bend
Full day excursion to the Danube Bend: Visiting Esztergom (largest basilica of Hungary), Visegrád (fortress and panorama) and the artists' village Szentendre (cobblestoned narrow streets, baroque houses, museums). Or half day excursion to Gödöllő Palace (favourite summer residence of Sisi) and free afternoon in Budapest. Dinner at local restaurant (optional folklore show), overnight in Budapest.
DAY 4 - Bratislava, Vienna
Departure to Vienna with a stop at Bratislava. Walking tour in the historical centre (National Theatre, Old town Hall, Primate's Palace, St Michael's street, Bratislava Castle and St Martin's Cathedral, which was a coronation church where 11 Hungarian kings and 8 queens were crowned in almost 300 years time). Dinner at a local restaurant, overnight in Vienna.
DAY 5 - Vienna
Half day sightseeing tour in Vienna: Grand Boulevard, State Opera House, Parliament, Heroes' Square, Burgtheater, City Hall, Votiv Church, Hofburg Palace, St. Stephan's Basilica.
Free afternoon or optional programs in Vienna (Schönbrunn Palace, Amusement Park, called Prater) Dinner at typical Viennese "Heuriger" restaurant (optional Schrammel music), overnight in Vienna.
DAY 6 - Salzburg, Salzkammergut
Driving to Salzburg with stops at Salzkammergut lakes (Traunsee, Attersee, Mondsee).
Half day sightseeing tour in Salzburg: Mozart's birthplace, Festival Hall, Cathedral, St. Peter's Abbey and Mirabell Palace. Dinner at local restaurant, overnight in Salzburg.
DAY 7 - Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, Prague
Departure to Prague with stop at Český Krumlov in the most romantic place of Czech Republic (Renaissance castle and museum with a rich collection of furniture and historical weapons, ) and České Budějovice home of the famous Budweiser brewery (Main Square, mix of arcaded buildings). Overnight in Prague.
DAY 8 - Prague
Half day sightseeing tour in Prague: Castle District (St. George's Basilica, Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane) Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter.
Free afternoon or optional program either in Prague (boat ride on the River Vltava) or in Kutna Hora (Cathedral of St. Barbara and Bone Chapel). Dinner at a local Bohemian restaurant, overnight in Prague.
DAY 9 - Departure
Depending on your flight, driving to Prague / Vienna / Budapest Airport. (In case of evening time departure from Prague, your round trip is one day shorter).
