Balázs Lévay

Sales & Marketing Manager (English & German)

LBAIntroduction:

I studied tourism and economics at the University of Pannonia and finished a course to be an official and registered tour guide. I started my "guiding career" on Corfu Island and at the beginning I was guiding Hungarian groups in abroad. Since 2006 I am working for Cityrama as an English and German speaking driver-guide, but after 9 years of guiding grops now I am looking for new opportunities and challeneges as the sales & marketing manager of the company.

Don't miss in Budapest:

The Jewish quarter has a lot of "hidden treasures" such as the orthodox synagogue in Kazincy street, a little remained part of the former ghetto wall in the courtyard of Király street 15, and the Gozsdu Udvar. If you are tired of walking, have a refreshment in one of the "ruin pubs" or taste the traditional Hungarian-Jewish pastry, the so called Flódni in a Kosher Cafe.

Don't miss in the countryside:

Besides the typical touristic areas there are many other places worth to visit: Hollókő is nice, small village, which is even a part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1987. Eger is a small town, with many historical buildings... if you are there, do not miss the "Valley of the Beautiful Woman", known for its wine cellars and the famous dry, red wine, called Bikavér (Bull's Blood).
